Clerk, Finance

Job Duties:

  • Organize and enter data into DSI daily milk receipts.?

  • Balance milk receipts to the supplies summaries from Patrons and CDI for billing verification.

  • Compile milk receipt data for calculation of SCC and Protein premium, balancing credits and weekly reports from DSI.

  • Prepares Producer payroll.

  • Prepare and submit State monthly (milk pooling) report.

  • Assist in coverage of the front desk for Receptionist during lunch and days off.

  • Back-up for Accounts Payable when clerk is off.

  • Enter Milk/Production data into Maestro system.

  • Prepare & print daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly reports for supervisors/management, and others.

  • Balance outside fluid sales and intercompany fluid receipts and billing of those items.

  • Milk/Haul out paperwork management; from DSI and enter pounds to spreadsheet.

  • Work overtime as needed.

  • Other duties and data summaries as necessary.

Hours of work: Monday thru Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with one hour lunch period
Days off: Saturday & Sunday as schedule permits
Qualifications:

  • Five years experience of responsible, independent clerical or secretarial work;

  • Demonstrated ability to handle high-level sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner.

  • Working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software (MS Word, Excel).

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands.

  • Working knowledge of SAP preferred.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with a commitment and sensitivity to maintain confidentiality.

  • High school diploma or equivalent education, experience or training.

Physical Demands:
Frequently required to stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop, kneel, talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Mental Demands:
This position frequently requires mental/analytical demands. The ability to read, analyze, and interpret operating manuals. The ability to work effectively under pressure is critical to this position.
Environmental Demands:
While performing job duties of this job, the employee will be subject to temperature extremes in various parts of the facility. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, however, the employee will occasionally be exposed to noise in various locations inside the plant.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
